Bruce Bauerle

Bruce , CKD, has been designing kitchens for more than 20 years as part of his established lumber and hardware business in Valley Stream, New York. Bruce enjoys a large referral business from thousands of satisfied customers, both locally and in the New York metropolitan area. As a former contractor, Bruce has a unique set of skills and an extensive knowledge of construction and remodeling, which enables him to provide unparalleled design services to his clients. Five Star Kitchens consistently delivers exceptional projects and is a member of the National Kitchen & Bath association and the SEN Design Group.

Nancy Riley

Although designing rooms was a passion, Nancy spent many years as an accountant. Since there was no room for creativity in the accounting profession, Nancy decided to attend FIT(Fashion Institute of Technology) while working full time and received her Associates degree in Interior Design in 1988. Nancy started to work at Five Star Lumber & Home Centers Inc in 1995 part time as the Controller doing accounting, but soon after she began using her creative skills working in the kitchen design department as well. She earned her CKD as a Certified Kitchen Designer in June of 2007.

Over the years her passion for kitchen design has taken over her accounting duties but the practical application of her accounting background has created a unique mix of design and practical application.

She guides her customers not only in the kitchen layout but also in the overall coordination of color preferences, tile and flooring selections, and paint colors. Nancy loves designing with color. Her own kitchen is the culmination of her desire to create a unique and practical space.
